Sophia R. Bailey
Sophia R. Baily grew up on the banks of the mighty Orange River, in a small town called Keimoes, Northern Cape. She was raised in an impoverished family of 11 children, of which she was the 8th child.
Since a very early age, Sophia had an awareness that God had a calling on her life, but never knew what it was, as she had no idea about spiritual matters, this she felt it in her heart. She cannot explain how and why, although she knew about Jesus, but did not know about having a personal relationship with Him.
At the age of 17, she left her hometown for the “Big City” of Cape Town, where she would spend the rest of her adult life until 2019, when she became very ill. That is when her husband, Dennis, agreed that she should quit working, retire, and stay home.
During that time, she was the sole breadwinner, but Dennis had started a small wood carving business from home with Sophia's pension money, and they thought that they would be able to make a living from that. However, things turned for the worse, and shortly thereafter, the COVID-19 virus struck, and the lockdown was enforced, which caused the business to collapse.
The pandemic caused them to lose everything, and the little that was left was stolen while in storage. They did not own a house and had nowhere to go, and in the meantime, her health deteriorated further, and she had no money for private health care.
Dennis managed to buy a caravan (trailer home), which he parked on the farm of a good Samaritan. From there, the couple moved back to the Northern Cape, where her sister lives, and continue to live in a caravan to this very day.
After 30 years of delay, the book was still unwritten, and in 2024, towards the end of the year, a fire to start writing this book was rekindled in her.
Sophia started writing at the beginning of 2025, and once she got into it, the words just kept coming. It took 30 years contemplating and planning the book, one month of preparations, and three months to complete it.
The Holy Spirit kept revealing new things to Sophia during the writing of this book about dreams that she had many years ago that she did not understand, after asking God to make a way to have this book published from really nothing, since this was His instruction and His plan.
The book is important, as God wants it, through His visions, to reach people all over the world, and Sophia is praying that the book could be used as an evangelising tool due to the Spiritual insight He has given her, and that she needs to share it with the world.
"Everything in this book comes from Him, it is not my own work, this is His Book and I pray it will bring Him honour and glory."
